Consultation
Board Certified cardiologist meets with you and reviews your concerns and discusses testing options and potential treatment plan. At the same time if you have other concerns they too can be addressed and appropriate testing ordered

Testing is performed
The venous ultrasound is performed. This is the most important test. It identifies the location and number of flawed veins. Your physician will review these images prior to your visit so as to be able to help guide you through options

Follow-up Consultation
You will again meet with the physician where an individualized tailored plan will be created, procedures explained and expectations discussed

Treatment
Procedures will be performed. Procedure once started is usually completed in 10 minutes or less. Meds are available if anxiety is a concern but general not needed. The only anesthesia needed is local. Relevant discomfort after the procedure is rare but we are always happy to see you back in the office rapidly to address any concerns.
